In preparation of an event me and my brothers are organizing, I've been creating a bunch of VJ loops. I aim to have about 60 of them ready by November, and I've finished 20 already. If you follow my Instagram feed you've probably seen them pass by.
Now that I've hit 20 though, I'd like to share my progress so far. All of them will be available from the new VJ Loops page, where you can find previews of each individual loop, as well as download them all at 2K resolution. Once again, all of this stuff is licensed CC0 (Public Domain), so you're free to use the loops any way you want.
Once I've finished all of the 60 loops, I intend to clean up the Blender files and make all of those available as well.
Check out the teaser for our event, motion design by my talented brother Robin, music was done by me.
But that's not all! I've also been asked to speak at the DACFRA conference. So it's time for a road trip down to Frankfurt for what's shaping up to be a fun conference. It's the first time this is being organized and while it's more focused for game artists, students and professionals, I'm super excited to be a part of it and hope inspire them with some of my crazy art. :)
It's the first time I've been asked to fill a full speaking slot at a conference and I'm very much looking forward to creating a fun presentation with a lot of cool stuff for everyone. Better start practicing!
Then, conference-wise, I'll also be speaking at and attending the Blender Conference this year. The last few years I was only able to go for one day, but this time I'll be around for the full conference.
As with every year, it promises to be a great time hanging out with other artists and making poor life choices. Hit me up if you're going too, so we can have a chat and a drink!
